Wexford ETC grew out of the recognition that Wexford would enjoy a social club focussed on events and travel - similar to the successful club in our neighboring plantation - Long Cove. Several Wexford members had enjoyed participating in Long Cove activities and the officers of the Long Cove Yacht Club generously provided advice and help as we formulated our own plans
In the fall of 2007, starting on September 23rd, a series of preliminary meetings were held culminating in the Founding Meeting in the Wexford Plantation Clubhouse on Friday November 30th 2007. At the founding meeting, the draft bylaws were accepted as a basis for our first year and an initial slate of officers was appointed for our inaugural year with Kathy Adair and Bonnie Hackworth serving as President and Vice president respectively.
On this website you can find Our News, a copy of the Membership Application Form, a survey page to find out about what Events you might enjoy, a list of Board and Committee Members, and a copy of the DRAFT Bylaws for ETC.
Please - all ETC members - go to the Events page and indicate your interests - and for a couple, please both of you do it! In addition go to the Interests page and similarly indicate your willingness to serve on our committees and the local activities you might enjoy. You can also see what Mutual Interests you share with your fellow members - which may help you make contact with those with similar interests.
