Clubhouse

The Wexford Plantation clubhouse is decorated and maintained to be a "casually elegant" home-away-from-home for members and their guests. The objective is to create a comfortable environment where people can relax while being respectful of the tastes and styles of others.

Toward that end, appropriate casual attire - some call it "country club casual" may even be worn in the clubhouse anytime the facility is open to the membership and at special events where such attire is acceptable. More formal dress codes for club functions and other themed events that differ from the norm will be articulated in an announcement for specific events.

Members are encouraged to keep their fellow members in mind when they enjoy the club, and to help club staff in upholding the espirt de corps of the clubhouse environment. Extremely casual or inappropriate attire, such as swimwear, ripped t-shirts, halter tops, cut-offs or short-shorts, work clothes or overly revealing clothing is not permitted.

After 6:00 pm, gentlemen are requested to wear long pants or golf shorts and a collared shirt; ladies are requested to dress in a manner that is appropriate with the requested attire of the gentlemen. Again, think "country club casual" and everything will be just fine.
